Tour guides great, rep's at buses great, made it so easy to get around. Told my family living in Philly they should do the hop on hop off tour to see the city
The tour was great, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and added humor. Saw all the places I wanted to see and leavened a lot. Great job.
my hotel was near a stop to board. your tickets wouldn't let us board there. we had to take an Uber to the first station and find an attendant who had to call to get a voucher turned to a ticket. he said other sites give a QR code and you just jump on board. It wasted an hour of our time and was an added expense.
The ticketing experience was easy & the best part was our tour guide who was informative & entertaining !!! We also liked the timing of the bus arrivals & departures!!!
It was a great overview of the city. What would have been better is the option to get a QR code to your phone and just get on any bus (and not have to go to stop one).
Hop on/hop off in Philadelphia was great. Plenty of stops, covered all the tourist locations, entertaining and informative speakers. Learned a lot about Philly and saw sites in didn't even know I want d to see
I brought my son and 3 of his friends. We planned identified the places we wanted to go, planned our route based on the bus map. It was so easy to hop on and hop off. The guides and drivers were great! Highly recommend.
We loved the convenience of the service as well as the attentiveness of the staff.
Good narrative, nice, friendly staff
I explained all of this in an earlier email with a copy and paste response from someone with limited English. Please stop sending me links to review this topic without ever addressing my original concerns.
Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. I purchased tickets for the Hop-on Hop-off tour online, hoping it would be a convenient option, especially since it was raining heavily that day. However, I later found out that the tickets needed to be redeemed in person at a location about seven blocks away from where I was. In the pouring rain, walking that distance just wasn’t feasible. This crucial detail wasn’t clear at the time of purchase, and I was unable to use the tickets at all. I’ve since reached out to request a refund, and I hope they’ll take the circumstances into consideration. For anyone booking, be aware that physical ticket redemption is required before boarding.
I was so pleased to have the overhead roof on our rainy morning ride! Our guide was simply fantastic- he provided thorough and interesting information on the history and development of Philadelphia. Taking this tour on the first day in town helped me to orient myself and plan future activities. Strongly recommend ! I found the(online) booking/ticketing experience disconcerting and a bit confusing. And when I arrived at ticket office , my confirmation number wasn't valid and required the agent to call to verify my booking. I would recommend people call the phone number to book tickets .
Very interesting city first. Plus I liked the fact that I could take the two different lines. Both had very good guides
Nothing, I was never able to get on the bus because of a route change that was not posted anywhere and we never were able to use our tickets. Trying to get my money refunded, which the Bus company told me would be no problem, but that I had to work through Headout since that's how I bought the ticket. BTW, I didn't even know I went through a third party to purchase and will never do that again, given the customer service I am receiving.
We used the bus for sightseeing and transport—super efficient. Hopped off for lunch, then back on to the zoo. The breeze up top was EPIC!
I was in Philly for 2 days, so this bus thing was PERFECT. Didn’t have to worry about parking or getting lost. The guides made me laugh (and actually taught me stuff). Pro tip: sit up top if you can, unless it’s raining. You see wayyy more.

it was a very convenient way to first, explore the city, and then go back to some things that interested us. All the staff were very nice, with a special shout out for Larry O. who went above and beyond.
The tour guide Sam (Samantha?) was GREAT! Very knowledgeable, very fun, very active. Totally made our first trip to Philadelphia more fun than we thought we would have! Looking
We had two different guides during the day. Both were knowledgeable and entertaining. Great way to get an overview of the city before heading out on our own.
One tour guide really great! Other spoke so quickly as though reading a script - no one could understand. Also, wish more busses on the road - had to take Uber twice during day to ensure we could get to more points on map. That was disappointing!
Waiting longer for buses that anything & never a seat up top -- we ended up walking. Waste of $78 😔
Easy to order and use Tour guide was loud clear and made the experience interesting Saw things i passed often but never noticed Best way to see the city, jad a friend from England woth us and she felt she saw the city comprehensively I think everyone should see the city this way
The speakers were great with tons of historical information, city facts and funny stories. And the drivers.......I don't know how they do it!! It's amazing how they can maneuver those massive busses with the ten billion other drivers, busses, ongoing construction, work trucks and just the general lack of road width and overall space.
Purchased tix on-line without problems. What would have made the tour awesome you have nothing to do with: weather, it rained and was windy. Sunshine would have enhanced the experience unfortunately it was the only day we had. Riding through old city under the canopy of trees was quite a sight to see.
Great way to see the places from a distance so that you know which ones to go and spend time visiting. Loved it
The tourguides were very entertaining and informative. I am still sharing the facts I learned on the tour.
The guide presented a lot of great information but, was hard to hear.
